I’m Mimi, the artist behind OLU OLU — a brand born from my personal journey of healing through painting. During a time when I was searching for direction, I discovered how deeply art could bring peace, reflection, and self-acceptance.

The name OLU OLU means “calm through doing” or “pleasant” in Hawaiian. It reflects the heart of my creative process: painting intuitively, allowing emotion and energy to guide the work.

My art explores themes of spiritual growth, self-love, and human connection. I’m drawn to the beauty within the full spectrum of human emotion, from vulnerability to joy, from searching to transformation.

The figures in my work are often emotions and not human, I like to explore feminine and masculine energy between emotion and human experience.

While many of my works are created on a large scale, such as murals and expansive canvases, I also offer high-quality prints so the work can be accessible to a wider audience. T

he prints are produced on recycled paper using eco-friendly ink to stay true to both the colors and values of the original pieces.

For me, art is more than aesthetics — it is a way to connect, heal, and share energy. I hope my work invites you to reflect, feel, and find beauty within your own journey.
